"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

Jason Kolons is a Veteran of the United States Army's 101st Airborne Division with the 187th Leader Rakkasans. During his six years of service he experienced three (3) tours of duty which included Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Kosovo.

While serving for his country he came to realize his passion for engineering and upon his discharge embarked on this academic pursuit. He has earned a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University California of Los Angeles as well as a Masters of Science from the University of Southern California. Although conflicted sometimes as to which school he should cheer for during sporting events, both institutions have given him a broader knowledge of the engineering world.

In addition to his school accolades he has earned his PE License and decided to start-up SP Engineering, LLC. It is here with SP Engineering, LLC where Jason can apply his knowledge and pride of workmanship to each of his projects.
